Fairly sure there are a couple of dudes on here into post-rock, so what's filling your ear holes? Been well back into post-rock recently as a result of my friends band from back home, Near Light (Not a shameless plug as they've broken up now, but still, give it a go): nearlight.bandcamp.com/track/this-place-is-my-home-2But obviously into the classics: Mogwai: This Will Destroy You: Explosions in the Sky: and, of course, Godspeed You! Black Emperor: Been out of the new post rock game for a while though, any new recs?

All about This Will Destroy You and Envy. Everything they touch is golden.

Did anyone manage to see Godspeed when they did a couple shows a couple years ago? The heavens opened up onto me that night. Probably the best show I've ever been to.

Saw them all 3 nights at ATP and again at the Portishead Alexandra Palace show. The first ATP night when they played Antennas to Heaven was incredible.

I take most my Post-Rock with Skramz. Envy, Funeral Diner, Suis La Lune.
